If you haven't had the chance to see the new Showtime documentary series on climate change called "Years of Living Dangerously" I highly recommend calling your local cable provider and ordering the movie channel because this is one of the most important television events in history.
I attended the Washington, D.C. premiere at The World Bank that featured opening remarks from World Bank President Jim Yong Kim and a panel discussion with Thomas Friedman, Rachel Kyte and M. Sanjayan followed by sneak preview. There was also a video message from Executive Producer James Cameron.
Hopefully this landmark television series brings public attention to the threat of man-made global warming and the urgency and political will needed to deal with the greatest generational challenge the world faces.
Here are some photos from the event.
